Aerial Magic

We went to the Life and Arts festival over this past weekend, and saw some things truly cool. The group Aeriosa (http://www.aeriosa.com/files/aeriosa.html) danced their way down the side of a parking garage, suspended on ropes, spinning and stretching their way off the building and around each other. They made the most incredible formations, floating through the air, connecting and rebounding in space. Wow!

There were also some great bands at Barnival, held this time at the Community Theatre. One group in particular had incredible harmonies and voices, reminding me of The Shins.

We saw lots of people we knew, and I made some connections I hadn't made before. In this town, everyone is somehow a friend or colleague of someone else.
