My new favourite me-time pasttime: going through old decorating and travel magazines, looking for beautiful pictures, cutting and pasting them into my beautiful, multipurpose, educational-inspirational-reflectional journal on a rainy day while watching Dharma & Greg on tv.

Inspiring myself

Came across this quote recently and it inspired me to look at my life and how I life. I love the standard it sets for living:

The Day Star of Truth that shineth in its meridian splendor beareth Us witness! High thread count

I am discovering the marvels of high thread count sheets.

I have a twin bed, and in our linen closet we have countless twin sheet sets. I've previously picked my favourites for their pattern. No more! I discovered a set with a random yellowish pattern, but a very very silky texture. Their thread count makes getting into bed even better than before. Who knows, high thread count sheets might enable me to get to bed earlier every night, thus increasing my productivity and hours available to do stuff!

Or, I might just enjoy the luxurious silky texture every night.
