Flocked!

My parents called me into the dining room today: "Quick, Kamilla - there are ducks in the backyard!" Sure enough, a flock of Mallard ducks decided to make our back yard their temporary rest stop. About 15 came to start, perfectly positioned against the white snow with their beaks pointing right and left. Then they started waddling around, this duck tapestry. More came to join them, up to 40 at one point. They clucked and pecked, but mainly rested. My dad tried throwing some bread out to them. One speed-waddled over to check it out, but lost interest and just sat there.

Ducks. Flocking us.

No digital camera!!! I want one; but a) I'm cheap, and b) I feel badly about the minerals used in producing electronics, so haven't pushed myself to buy one. However, if it were 2nd hand, I think those ethical dilemmas would be laid to rest. I fully agree - pictures are such a good thing. I'm glad you have them!
