I find I can't drink from glasses out of the dishwasher -- something about the soap residue just doesn't feel right. So, I took the next logical step and put together a container of home-made dishwasher soap (I suppose the truly logical step would be to wash all dishes by hand ... we'll come to that). I did one load and it worked well, but then the dishwasher broke. So now it's hand-washing for all.
But it did work!
